Short, because this site collects very little — and specific about the three services it does use.

What this website does not do
This site runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or tracking pixels, and records no sessions. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. We set no cookies of our own, and nothing on these pages builds a profile of you or follows you to another website.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user agent — as is technically necessary to deliver a website and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating the service securely.
Address search and the route map
The address fields and the map on the booking page use Google Maps Platform (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4). The Google code is not loaded when a page opens: it is requested the first time you place the cursor in an address field. From that point Google receives your IP address and what you type into the field, and may store data on your device, in order to return address suggestions and draw the route. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because entering a pickup and destination is how a transfer is requested. Google also processes data in the United States. If you do not use the address fields, no data reaches Google.
Quotes and bookings
The journey you enter — addresses, date and time, passenger count, and the flight number, contact details and extras you give at checkout — is sent to our booking system at panel.germanride.com to price the journey and to place the booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one. Where a driver or partner operator performs the journey, only the details necessary to perform it are shared with them.
Card payment
If you choose to pay by card, the payment form is provided by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Dublin) and loads only at that point. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s own form and are never received or stored by us. Stripe processes the payment as an independent controller under its own privacy policy; the legal basis for passing the payment on is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you pay the driver after the journey, no payment provider is involved at all.
Retention
Enquiry and booking data is kept for as long as needed to deliver the journey and to meet statutory commercial and tax retention periods, then deleted.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests, under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to us using the contact details on the contact page.
Changes
This policy is updated in the same change as any processing it describes, rather than on a schedule.
